This past May, Peoples of Caribbean and West Indian Descent (PCWID) was joined by a group of students, faculty, and community members to welcome Haitian American feminist anthropologist and performance artist Gina Athena Ulysse (UM Ph.D. 98) as she meditated on various moments in the development of her career navigating the the borders of the arts and sciences determined to hold on to her activist commitments.
